In this study, we evaluated the effect of the association of a bioactive glass-ceramic scaffold (Biosca) with mesenchymal stem cells derived from either bone marrow (BM-MSCs) or adipose tissue (AT-MSCs) on bone formation in calvarial defects of osteoporotic rats.
