Background: Children and adolescents with cerebral palsy (CP) experience musculoskeletal complications including spinal deformities, hip dysplasia and disuse osteoporosis. Bisphosphonates can improve bone mineral density, prevent fragility fractures. It is unclear if prior bisphosphonate use modifies post-operative complication in children with CP.
